Pathetic service

Hi there

After numerous complaints on Hello Peter, I have not heard from any of the two companies. After reading all the complaints on Hello Peter regarding HTN and Bruma, I am forwarding these mails to the NCR and Credit Ombudsman.

1. The National Credit Act 34 of 2005 became law in July 2007. This means that the rights of the consumer have been recognised to exercise their rights.

2. I have discovered that I have a default listing on my record, through Bruma Finance.

3. I have never received any notification in WRITING from the creditor, informing me of the intention to list me as a default payer on the credit buro.

4. I have never received 20 days notification in WRITING OF THE IMPENDING LISTING OF MY ACCOUNT.

5. According to the NCR, if my answer was NO to the above mentioned questions, my rights as consumer have been violated and the law has been broken.

6. I have the right to challenge this listing and dispute it with the credit buro that displays it on my record.

7. The only correspondence that I got regarding my Bruma accounts was sms’e that was send to the cellphone stating that I can get discount on this account.

8. The first sms was from HTH that is totally in conduct with the law as I got no correspondence what so ever from Bruma regarding this accounts. (24 May 2016)

9. The second one was from HTH again on 15 June telling me that I qualify for a discount.

10. I need WRITTEN proof that Bruma send me letters stating that they are going to list me as an default payer on the ITC.

11. Communicating only via sms is totally against the rights of the National Credit Act.

12. Bruma did not follow the right procedures regarding this case.

13. Bruma also does not reply or react on the complaints that was laid with Hello Peter.
