Refund

Last year I bought a diamond engagement ring from Browns in Centurion. At that stage I had a girlfriend that was living in Australia. Just before I went over to propose to her, she fell ill with cancer and later passed away. Browns refused to refund me what I paid for the ring which was R30 000. I could get to the point to sell the ring after my girlfiend died and now I cant even get 30% of the value of the ring despite the fact that the ring is still brand new. I am, shocked at the fact that Browns didnt want to refund me for the ring. All I want is to get my money back. Is that to much to ask for?!

We are deeply sorry for your loss and regret your current situation.
It is unfortunate that your request for a refund has fallen outside of our money back guarantee period. We recommend that you advertise and sell your ring privately as this will definitely get you more than a second hand Jewellery trader.
