R 1000 for valuation certificates

I'm in the process of changing my insurance providers and require valuation certificates for my wedding rings I purchased at browns 2 and a half years ago. I have the original certificates but because its older than 24 months i required up dated ones. Upon contacting browns for the valuation certificates i was informed that i need to pay R500 per certificate. I do not understand this how can i be charged R1000 for 2 certificates for a product I purchased from your organization. This is ludicrous! I have always held your organization in high standing due to the exceptional service i received and would refer anyone looking to buy jewelry. But after this highway ******* for 2 pieces of paper you've lost a loyal customer.
