Disappointed! Not value for money

My fiance bought me a ring from Browns Pavilion for our engagement

It was a rose gold cubic zirconia, one of the prongs of the ring broke exactly two months after he got it. The precious stone also came out (thank god we found it)

I took the ring back to browns pavilion where they mentioned that I have to pay for it as they do not have a warranty. I am in disbelief that a company that prides themselves on premium quality and even has an magnificent sales pitch of why you should buy from them than the competitors have no after service assistance in place. I do not wear my ring daily nor did I bump it into anything unconsciously! I dont understand that after just 2 months of probably wearing it for plus minus 30 days It would break. I actually expected more from browns! The service and product is not premium ! It's just a excessively highly priced brand that is of the same quality or maybe worse than any other jewelry store! I dont think I should be the one fitting this bill if the quality of the elements used to create this ring can only withstand a period of 2 months before it breaks! Why should I pay for something that was already so expensive in the first place that it shouldn't break so easily! Horrible workmanship
