Browns, no value for customers

Last week i bought my third piece from Browns Diamond store in Sandton City, a 3k diamond tennis bracelet. Less that a week after and without any reason the bracelet broke and luckily i was at home at realised. One hour after i would have been out and probably loose it for good!

I went back to the store today upset to end up even more furious with the store's attitide. I asked for a manager and no manager was on duty only a more senior sales person. Intially they dared to say to me that we will keep it to send it to workshop to make an evaluation on what went wrong with the manufacturing like i would care less about this or it is my business as a client who paid thaousands of rands a week ago. I said that this is unaceptable and that at least they should give me immidiatelty a new one and also make sure that they give me a gift on the top for what happened as it disgraceful for a store of their name what happened with my diamond bracelet. What if i had lost it ? Would have they believed me then?? So after callling back i assume a manager they said they can also give me a jewlery box and a bottle of champagne!!! Really????? Therefore i reuqested my money bac****

For me Browns prooved that it is just a cheap diamond supermarket, having no respect or value for loyal customers and also made me thought that the whole policy of "grow your diamonds" could end up a client buying a used piece that could be tired ( eg a new bracelet breaking in few days) or just the manufacture is *******!

Never going back and i recommend if one wants to invest in expensive pieces to go to a less mass store so they can get vakue and respect.
