Gift cards - Mission impossible!

<p>It would seem that it is easier to find the holy grail than a Brooklyn Mall gift card. On Friday afternoon at 14.25, I stood around like an idiot at the Brooklyn Mall information desk waiting for any sign of life (intelligent or otherwise!). Fortunately a local store owner suggested that I should proceed to the centre management office to purchase a gift card. To my absolute delight, when I arrived at their office at 14.40, I saw that they had closed at 14.00. How wonderful - in a centre where stores are required to trade until 19:00. Fortunately, Woolworths became the beneficiary of a sale. If I need another shopping centre gift card, next time I will try Menlyn. Sad!</p>
