Poor service and lies
I took my car in for repairs on 19 September 2017. On 21st I received an SMS saying my car is in the stripping department and awaiting panel beating. On Tuesday 3 October I called to find out about the progress of my vehicle and was told that they initially did not realize that the fender was broken and they were awaiting authorization from the insurance to order a new one. I was a bit upset because they did not inform me but I let it pass. On the same week the panel-beaters informed me that they had ordered wrong parts. On the 10th of October when I called, I was told that my car was going to be painted that afternoon and go for inspection the following day. Surprisingly, the following day I received an SMS saying the car is in line for painting. I called and asked what was happening, they told me that the car was definitely going to be painted that day and I would receive it by end of the week (1st lies). On Tuesday 16 October when I called, the lady in charge told me that the bumper was not fitting and when I asked how come she was telling me about the bumper not fitting when I was told I'll have my car the previous week already, she couldn't answer me (2nd lies). On the 19th, a full month after my car went for repairs, I decided to call my insurance and complain. They told the insurance that the car was being painted and will go for inspection the same day. they also called me and told me the same thing (3rd lies). On Friday 20 October, I never received a call from them so I called the insurance again. The panel-beater came back and said my car will be ready on Saturday 21 October I should await their call. The call never came through (4th lies). Yesterday, Monday, I called the insurance and they told them my car was done and ready but still, I don't have my car back (5th lies). That's the kind of service you receive from Brooklyn Automotive Refinishers.
