Cracking soles

After buying my first pair of bronx i was really satisfied. It is comfortable and stylish and have had about 5 pairs now but please do tell me if i am unresenable by asking if it is normal for the soles cracking only after a couple of months??? Hope to hear from you soon. Thank you.
