***** ALERT - MICHAEL MABUZA

After booking a training session with us for Sihle Madalambane, a payment was made into our account to the value of over R 84 000. Immediately after receiving the POP, we got a phone call from Michael Mabuza ***) saying that his daughter had accidently paid us the R 84k, and had paid our invoice of R 2k to another company (she had got the invoices mixed up). He sent a bank approved letter, with his bank details, asking for a refund.

The money had cleared in our account, along with a cash fee of about R 45, but there were a lot of red flags in the transaction, and we informed Michael that we would check with the bank after a few days to ensure the money was actually cleared in our account, before refunding the R 84k, minus our invoice and any bank fees incurred as a result of the transfer.

2 days later, the R 84k had magically been reversed out of our account, and needless to say - we have heard nothing further from Michael. We are not sure if Michael has created a **** company, or if Broadway Trading CC has been targeted and used as a scapegoat (although, we have found no/little evidence in the functioning and feasibility of the company.)

Please be careful, and certain, that all monies in your account clears with your bank before refunding anyone should they overpay for an invoice, or should they pay into an 'incorrect account'. Please verify and confirm all fishy dealings with you bank.
