Children's safety
Before I start,I would like to say we are all entitled to our opinions and keep in mind we all experience situations differently. I wish to explain why I was so vocal at school today.Yes we are all aware of the on and off strike at Sicelo/R59. I am also aware nobody can control it ,not me,not you,the police can't and neither can the school or Mr Sieg Miller. It is out of our control. However when my kids leave my house they are then placed in the care of their school, teachers and principal.Being so involved and having close contact with the police,Mr Miller, you would then be well aware of the surrounding situations. Your plan in the 2nd term to move the kids to the church might have been an inconvenience for some, but was a safer option. But now having the kids literally right next door to the "problem" is not safe. Then sending a text message, that the school is now transporting the kids to a safer venue due to word of strike starting up again. The severity and implications of such situations should not be taken lightly and left to such an extent where our kids are at last minute being out onto busess and evacuated from school property.I arrived at school to find busess departing and my son was on one of the busess that were still in the school. I then asked Mr Sieg Miller ur I could get my son off the bus ( my son standing at the busess window crying of fear) you refused to let him off and allow him to come with me, his Mother.I am not a rude or mean spirited person, but attack me and speak to me in a very unprofessional manner, I will not remain silent. I have been asking myself, do you treat my son and I this way because you were " stressed" or is it because, at the start of the week I handed in my childrens terms notice, and you were not happy with my reasoning for doing so.
