Terrible Service owes me R20 8000

Paid them in full R20 800 for a load from East London to Paarl. On the day the truck was supposed to load we received the following feedback: 1) too windy for the truck to drive and behind schedule postponed 2) next day still no truck to load and debbie said the truck is missing 3) the drivers phone is off they can't get hold of them still no truck 4) called the owner Jean Britz he confirmed he is not aware of the load he will follow up with Debbie who made the arrangements 5) at halfday Jean confirmed the office messed up and did not book the load but we paid the invoice received from the office by Debbie with all the dates, addresses etc on the booking form 6) they confirmed there was no truck near or on its way 7) we had to book and pay another transporter out of our own pockets excellent service from the other transporter 8) two weeks later and I am still waiting for my refund after many promises from Jean Britz the owner and still no refund. 9) we had to appoint a lawyer this week to assist in recovering our money R20 800 !! Terrible and don't pay them upfront the explanations we heard from Debbie and Jean Britz is shocking please be aware of this company. How do you spend a customer's deposit before the service was rendered This happen during the last week of October 2025.
