Lack of communication

I moved from Middelburg (Mpumalanga) to Cape Town in December.

On the day of collecting my furniture the truck that arrived was so small that they had to come a second time around. There was no communication regarding this from Neil and I as the customer had to phone and find out was going on. He told me the link truck had broken down and I understood and was calm about it as there was logistical issues.

On the day that they had to drop of my furniture the same small truck arrived and the driver had to inform me that the rest of my furniture will be delivered the next day. NO COMMUNICATION from Neil again. The next day the driver of the second truck phoned me and said that my furniture will only be delivered the next day. NO COMMUNICATION from Neil again. I phoned him as I was unhappy with the communication and service and he told me if I can get difficult he can also get difficult. That is no way to speak to a client in a situation like this.

Moving is a stressful period in one's life and with your furniture in two sets of trucks it was not easy. But some understanding and communication would have made it a lot easier. And to keep your client informed would have helped

Good day

Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review on Hellopeter.com

I am very sorry to hear about your bad experience with our company. And I know Moving is very Stressful. I just want to apologise for the way Niel has handled you and your move. We did take some action against him, and he knows that this is unacceptable to handle our clients like he did with you.

Once again very sorry about this.

Kind Regards

Rohan Britz (Managing Director)
