Experienced staff and problem-free experience

I had to move a couple of boxes, a bar fridge and a laundry basket from Johannesburg to Gqeberha/Port Elizabeth. Britz Couriers sent me the most affordable quotation out of all the removals companies. I had previously used a different company two years ago and when I asked this company for a quotation this time around, their price was so obviously inflated I had to look for a different option. Britz Couriers & Removals had the winning quotation.

The process was easy, and the truck arrived when they said it would. Vernin/Vernon and his crew moved my items into the truck. They were punctual, respectful and quick. Although they must have been on a tight schedule, Vernin/Vernon still answered all of my questions about an estimated arrival time and how long their journey might be, and that put my mind at ease (I was flying to PE two days after the truck left Johannesburg and needed my items to arrive on that day so I would be comfortable at my new place, the truck also could not arrive before I did because there would be no one there to receive the items). The truck arrived when they estimated it would, and I was able to unpack and be comfortable. My items also arrived fairly quick - I did not have to spend days/a week+ wondering where my items were.

Vernin/Vernon also called well before leaving his location to let me know he was on his way to my location next (for both collection and delivery) and would let me know roundabout where he was and how long it would be before he arrived. 5/5 for that.

I packed a lot of fragile things in my boxes and they all arrived intact, nothing was broken or missing. 5/5 for the crew. Especially because my boxes were self-packed, and I labeled them myself. I'm glad they recognized that the boxes may not be professional moving boxes with fancy moving label stickers, but the items inside the boxes are still valuable to me and need to be handled with care. The crew was also nice enough to place the boxes where I requested them to be placed (during delivery) with no fuss.
