Bad Service and Unreliable

<p>I recently moved from Pretoria to Cape Town. I signed a contract and payed Britz Couriers for my furniture removal. I also took out additional insurance on my furniture. Once I have paid them the deposit it was a struggle to get them to inform me about the dates for my furniture removal. I always had to phone them and even if they promised to call me back they never did. They then made use of a third party removal business called Peters Mini Removals. It was never mentioned in my contract that they would be used. Peters Mini Removals also failed to inform me about any dates and it was impossible to get any information out of them. They eventually picked up my furniture and also did a thorough inspection to ensure that there were no damage on the furniture. After late delivery of my stuff in Cape Town I noticed that some of my expensive furniture were damaged badly, they even damaged more stuff during delivery. I pointed it out to the driver and he failed to do anything about it. I contacted Britz Couriers, I even emailed them my complaint with photos of the damaged furniture. They basically rep**** saying it’s not their problem and they can’t do anything about it. Both Britz Couriers and Peters Mini Removals are very unreliable with very poor service. I will never recommend them to anybody. I will definitely report them to the Consumer Protection Act.</p> <p> </p>
