Brits Wellness ************ Business

I had a 12 months gym contract with Wellness World Brits, in those 12 months I only went to gym for a month because I was in out out town, but I honoured my obligation and paid that amount anyway. In that 12 months they never even called to follow up, why I never go to gym, or just a courtesy call. Anyhow my contract came to end end in March. However The debit order continued for the past 2 months, on follow up I call Wellness World Brits and spoke to Bianca and Justin who then inform me that the contract auto renews itself when its expire.

Can someone please advise how is this allowed.

This is absolutely day ******* - how does a clause like this become legal.

Upon further follow up they send me a form to complete in order to cancel my membership, I mean excuse me, it was very easy to deduct my money without my consent but to stop them from taking my money they need my consent.

People must just be aware of such ****s and ************ business. They are out there to ***** our hard earned monies
