Falling into the trap of a second hand vehicle with issues.
What a terrible experience... topping it all of with Brits Nissan leaving my family without transport over lockdown and in counting, its been 68 days now without transport and a battle with them to sort out issues that wasn’t disclosed to me after asking prior to purchasing the vehicle that’s been going on from last year November, a week after the vehicle was purchased. Very poor service and not to be trusted.

29 May 2020, 15:07After buying a vehicle from #britsnissan, the vehicle wouldn’t start after filling up at a garage on my way home from collection, I realized that somebody broke the diesel filter casing and tried to glue it with qbond... I then contacted #Britsnissan about the issue and they asked me to take it in and they will cover the costs, when I took it into Ford, they realized that 90% of the vehicle has been re sprayed and the left hand side front panel has been replaced with an aftermarket panel... after I was told by #Britsnissan a few scratches were fixed and that they had to re spray the tailgate and one door which was fine by me but not the whole car?
After realizing this, I paid Ford to do a full check... basically Ford said that there’s no way that this vehicle should of made it through roadworthy, my tires are full of flat spots due to all other issues, the mechanical issues added up to over R75 000 quoted by Ford. The vehicle won’t start every now and then, this happens almost every second week. #Britsnissan eventually took my vehicle in for a reassessment, only to tell me that they will fix some issues but make use of my extended warranty to do so, I didn’t agree with this as to me this is ********* and not right. I’ve been left without transport now for over 2 month, escalated the matter to the ombudsman but now #britsnissan is missing in action and completely ignoring me... what can I do? I feel hopeless.
