Amazingly terrible

Stay away. Rather pay a bit more.

Quote was cheaper than the big guys (first warning, but they were recommended by a friend, had some good reviews and we tried to save our company some money);

Communication was good, except for confusion whether wine can be taken or not (so missing the wine right now);

Collection was on time, but the team was quite rough and broke some irreplaceable things during packing and didn't even have the decency to tell us. We discovered it in the cupboard ourselves.

Halfway across the ocean, they tried to hit us with additional costs of around $2000 for (1) Storm delay - we confirmed with port authorities as nonsense; (2) Change in address - we didn't have an address at time of quoting, but had given them the city name and it remained the same city; (3) Destination charges - turned out they based their quote to us on a quote from a t****uys-and-a-truck style company instead of an international freight forwarding agent who handles customs clearance and tried to pin the new cost of a proper company on us. They tried to strong-arm us into paying by holding our goods at the US port and threatening to charge us storage fees of $200/day. We reasoned with the port authorities directly and got out of that.

We had to get lawyers involved, ended up paying less in legal fees, but BIR just would't admit to their mistake. They even threatened us with their legal team, copying the supposed legal@ address in their company, but when I hit reply-all we discovered that email doesn't even exist. Their MD even accidentally included earlier email arguments between them and the amateur removals company in the USA, where they admit their mistake, in his responses to us.

Our lawyers eventually got the US port to release our goods after BIR refused to communicate with us.

Goods arrived with quite some damage, but so many things missing. Not whole boxes, but rather smaller things likely ****** during packing. Had to buy so much winter clothes as a result of the delay. Felt so abused. Glad to be here.
