Why waste your time getting Avios points when BA basically never have any seats available.

BA why do you bother saying you can use Avios points as when you try using them to upgrade, you simply state there is no availability basically between now and eternity. I find this totally despicable. Perhaps you should learn to treat your customers as if your actually give a damn about them.
