Avios air miles not worth it!!

A close friend of mine had cancer and passed away in November 2014. She insisted that I use some of her air miles to buy a ticket to London. So I did. It was to cost R9750 for a premier economy, paid for from her credit card.<br> cannot get away this year so need to change the ticket to the same time in 2016<br> spoke to a person on the call centre a few months ago and was told that I could re-schedule if I did it within 1 year of the flight date. So I had to wait until July to reschedule for July next year.<br> I went online on sunday to change the ticket. I got an error message saying that the new dates had to be within 365 days. After many attempts, I could not do the booking.<br> I called the call centre on monday morning and was told that there was not a premier class seat available on the dates I had chosen but I could book a day later and get the seats.<br> I was told to go online and do the booking again.<br> Once again, I went online and got the same error message!<br> Now under pressure as I am on holiday so am not in front of the computer<br> called centre again. told have to book within 12 months of original booking date!<br> Cancelled the ticket, R710 fee, refund credited to my dead friend's credit card!
