BA doesn't give a damn if it changes your flights

Several months ago I planned a holiday in UK & Lanzarotefor June 2016. Booked flights with British Airways (BA) because I had air miles. I carefully booked flight times and connections. This month BA sent an email announcing changes to London/Madrid/Lanzarote flight times. Interestingly they had me leaving Madrid before I landed there. I asked them to address this but they could only provide flight from London at 06:15, a somewhat unpleasant time to try to get there from hotel in SW England. I pointed this out and suggested they at least offer me nice seats for my wife and me in advance without having to pay the fee they normally charge for that. The email response I received was just so much apologetic waffle that advised me there was nothing they are prepared to do. My conclusions: BA are quite likely to change your flight times Changed flight times will not necessarily work out logistically BA don't really care about any inconvenience to passengers BA customer care responses are just meaningless waffle Choose a different airline. I will
