Terrible supervisory skills and double standards

Good day Brights.

I must say i has always been a pleasure buying things from you guys up until today. this morning i came into your store to buy a rain drain cover. the price on the shelf was 59.99. which i though was a good buy. once i completed all my shopping from your store i challenged the cashier to say but the price of the shelf is 59.99 and not 94.99. we then went to check the price and it was in fact 59.99 on the shelf. there was plenty of stock on the shelf as well. eventually the cashier took the bar code, and it was different to what was on the shelf. i then asked her look i budgeted for the 59.99 can i please have it at this price. she then went to the supervisor which was really of no help and handled the situation in a very unfriendly manner no professionalism shown whatsoever. his name was Byron Swarts i must add he should really learn how to act in a professional way listening is definitely a very good skill which is very important. i explained to him that i saw the items on the shelf going at 59.99 and not 94.99. he then said sorry i cannot give it to you at that price. he then did not even bother to hear me out as i had a similar experience about a few days back where i bought gloves from the same brights in blackheath. the price was also showing one price at the shelf 17.99 and on the till, it was 34.99. then the lady at the time simply entered a correction and gave it at the lower price of 17.99. the point I am trying to make is that the policy should have stayed in place in an item is not labelled properly on the shelf it is not the customers fault especially if there is in excess of 7 pieces on the shelf and a price given on the shelf. the client should be given the price on display. it is the shops fault or workers in the shop who did not do proper labeling. i must stress the fact that you should please teach this Byron Swarts how to handle situations like this is was really frustration trying to explain things to him and he would not listen thinking he is very much superior due to a title of supervisor. i would have liked to speak to the store owner and explain the situation. again, what i am getting at is do not have double standards have a policy in place and stick to it. do not have a bad day and then change the rules. it is very frustrating to start a morning like this. i also believe Mr Swarts should apologize in the way he handled my complaint. it was very frustrating and terrible customer service. you guys have these 7 principles on display my challenge to you is to live by what you say other wise its just a nice poem on the wall.
