Rude & Lazy Salesman

All I wanted was 5m of 80 grit emery ****. There was nothing on the floor except some full rolls on the shelf. the gent at the paint counter refused to cut 5m off for me, saying it's not how things are done.

I asked him to call the manager so that I can discuss it with him. he told me the manager was in the front and I could go and call him. His telephone is just for show I reckon. He then called me an old man. I was a dash offended.

I went and found the manager and he came and told Mark to cut off 5 m for me. Thank You mark.

This was done and I received my 5m. This gent then had the audacity to say that customers come in and do what they want in Brights. (Only after the manager had left)

I am sorry Brights, but such attitudes drive customers to Builders and Build it. your sales people are your front line and if they behave offensively, the whole company is judged on that.

I will think twice before I return to a hardware shop where I may be verbally abused /insulted by your staff.
