FAULTY PUMP WOULD NOT REPLACE

I bought a pool pump from Brights (Speck Pump) for R2200 on the 1-19-2015 and we installed the pump on the 5-10-2015 and by 9-10-2015 the pump had stopped working . Atfter taking back to Brights on 10-10-2015 the staff suspected that the capaciter was faulty but that wasnt the case then when I asked for a new pump they told me that the pump had water damage????? Brights dont carry the warranty they said. Its Speck Pumps and they will not take responsibility.
Not at any stage was the pump exposed to water, during the above mentioned time frame there wasnt even rain!!!
After been shifted from pillar to post the next best thing was to have them repair \the water damaged"pump at an additional cost of R650 to me again.
The day I walk into the store 17-10-2015 to collect the repaired pump "
