Brights bad service

Hi. I bought a Metabo mitre saw from brights brackengate. The saw broke 5 months 14 days old. Took it back to brights and was told it is under repair warrenty and that they will sent it to metabo. 3 weeks later brights contacted me to say that metabo says it's not worth fixing because parts are to expensive. So I went to brights and asked them what now. Was told by guy in powertool department. That metabo says i over used maching and they are not covering it in warrenty. I have a full time job. And luck if I get a few hours a week to do wood work. As wood working is my hobby. Please explain why none from brights is getting back to me. And how is it possible that I have over worked the mitre. My old ryobi mitre is 7 years old no problems. Metabo 5 month old still original blade and overwork. I need answers

Reviewer Update
So got my call from brights brackengate for my mitre that broke. And was told that the main bearing broke and by starting machine up a few times after bearing went I caused the damage to mitre and metabo will not cover maching or fix it. ( long life product. Maybe years ago. But not any more) and yes I did start it up few times. As i was following the in instruction manual. Were it says. When blade is vibrating. Switch machine off. Check if blade is fastened. And then start. When that was not the case. Step 2. Check if blade is properly installed. And start. Step 3. Remove blade and check for wood chips ens. And start. And so on and so on. I'm not a technician. And in my mind how can a bearing of a machine break in a few uses. This is ridicules. Metabo is a well know company. And because of a factory fault. (BEARING) if bearing did not break. Machine would still be perfect. How can that be my fault.
