Satisfied I have a Responsible & Reputable Insurer

Documents received and filed somewhere at home can tend to go missing...and maybe can't be found at a crucial time for referencing. Years ago I moved my Life and Dread Disease/Disability Cover over to Brightrock, as a new player on the scene (as mentioned above). In my mind I basically moved Cover for around R1,000,000-00 Life and R500,000-00 DD and Disability. Thinking that for a specific monthly premium...and if always paid...100% of a Claim would be R500,000-00 cut & dried as a 100% amount... because a specific premium was being received. It is actually more specific than that in areas of household needs, permanent situations rather than ones recoverable from, etc.etc., and I guess for tried and tested reasons. There really are little "pockets" of premiums for specific things that make up a one total premium. Once I received the actual breakdown of "what-is-what" and it made more sense with little diagrams and bubbles here and there requiring scrutiny against an "apportioned" premium...it turns out I actually received the payouts 100% as per the premium paid per section. I can now say then that I am actually satisfied that my Insurer did come to the party concerning my Dread Disease situation over the past 2 years. A lot of documents/reports are requested, and maybe too many for a situation, but now I just have to wait and see what will happen on the Disability side for my claim for injury received during my Cancer surgery.
