Tyres with defect fitted unaware

Their Dayton Journey 195/55/R15 tyres have developed a ridge on both of the tyres in similar appearance. I bought them on the afternoon of Wednesday 24th March 2021 and drove them for less than 30km. The next morning drove them for about 4km to a nearby wheel alignment centre. They were still not comfortable on the grip with the roads travelled on. On Saturday I bring the car back to where I bought them to indicate the whole discomfort and lack of grip. They inspect the car on their hoist and pick up a manufacturer defect which appears similar on both tyres while they are fitted on different sides of the front suspension.
