Bad experience with Firestone tires

Brought a new set of Firestone Touring and from day 1 car had bumpy ride Complained and rep was sent out who replaced two tires but still NO improvement According to rep the Munro OE shocks that I replaced in January 20 is too hard for a Chev Aveo . In desperation I contacted Munro with zero results. Eventually I replaced rear shocks with old KYB shocks and there has been an improvement BUT tires still give a bumpy ride like you are continuously driving on a corrugated surface Only on freeway car gives a better performance if tire pressure reduced to 1,8 bar. I can kick myself for insisting on Firestone Previously with Firehawk had very good performance but now I am on verge of going back to previous tires bought at Hi Q i.e. Good Year which gave excellent ride comfort . I am sick and tired of claims made by manufacturers of how wonderful their products are but in end you spend a lot of money for disappointment I should have followed my own instincts and should have fitted Sumitumo (Dunlop) tires which could have been a better option. So watch out for all the claims of wonderful tires and avoid Firestone at all cost if you want to avoid bumpy rides
