Bad Service and unfair Treatment by Brick-IT

Hello everyone. Let me share my sad story and the bad experience with this brick manufacturing company, which I believe the do not care about customer service but only interested in the money coming in. Sometime in July 2020 I bought 10k of bricks as I have a building project and was intending to finish by project on time. They kept on promising that delivery will be done the following day and my builders will be onsite and no delivery, eventually the delivery took place after a week or so. By end of August I ran short of bricks and ordered 5k more bricks and this was when I experienced the worst. Delivery was delayed for about two to three days but eventually when they deliver, the driver could not offload all the pallets where one pallet broke while still on the truck. The driver then started throwing the bricks by hands on the pavement where again some broke including those left on the truck and I even took pictures. The driver then said that they will replace the broken bricks which were estimated to be around 200 even though I refused and said the number could be more. I was then referred to a guy called Marius who was to arrange delivery of the 200 bricks. I started talking to Marius beginning Sept on WhatsApp and promised to sort out the problem and then he was off the whole week and towards end Sept he promised on WhatsApp that I will get the bricks soon & he even requested that I send him location to deliver the bricks. He then later changed and said I must come collect as they don’t have a bakkie to deliver. I then hired a truck to go collect and also wanted to add and buy 1000 more bricks. After paying for the 1000 bricks, I was then told that the 200 cannot be loaded as the accountant to pass credit has already left. I had to argue with him but as I was pressed for time and also the driver was not willing to listen to the long debate. We then agreed that I must come the following day to collect the 200 bricks. After hiring another bakkie to go collect as agreed, he then sent another WhatsApp message saying that actually I will no longer be getting the 200 bricks as they fall within the 5% breakage policy which I was never told before. I told him that am going to take the matter further but will start first with Hellopeter.com and if not resolved then further to the Consumer Protection. I believe is not about the quantity of the bricks whether 200 or 20 000 but a matter of principle and fair treatment by this company.
