BRIAN SCHOLEY & ASSOCIATES AND KANDUA DON'T USE!!

Contacted Brian Scholey from Brian Scholey & Associates through Kandua app. He was fine with drawing the plans for my house, and sold himself as a builder / project manager too. So I decided to give him the project of building my new patio, outer deck, retainer walls for the flower beds and a swimming pool. After much negotiating, and not listening to my instincts, we started the project on the 15th February 2021. He quoted 4-5 weeks maximum for all. It started well with foundations dug, retainer walls went up and the foundations for the patio and deck. By the 3rd week I started to notice that he took on too much and had no clue how to project manage with many errors taking place which I had to point out. We are now 6 weeks in and I am left with a hole in the ground for a pool, a patio with no roof, plumbing not done, painting, tiling, plastering, and all that goes not done. To date I have released R90800,00 of R104500,00 and he has stopped coming to site as he hasn't paid his staff. Also tells the staff to speak to me for payment! DO NOT USE HIM FOR ANYTHING, DO NOT LISTEN TO HIS BULL**** STORY OF BUILDING ZULU NYALA LODGE, this con artist couldn't build a Lego house with instructions!! He is a *****, **** and not a builder. The interesting part is trying to get hold of someone at Kandua to complain and write a review, number just rings and warnings come up on the internet advising that the site is not legit. Won't ever recommend either of them to anyone.
