Cheated and ******

I bought a Toyota Auris at Brian Motoland and was told car was never involved in an accident, which was a lie, and I also find out that it was modified and a drop down suspension was done of which they denied it. I asked them to tell me if there are repairs which needs to be done so I can know what to fix, I was told the car is n a good condition. I feel that I was cheated and ******. Dealers like them are not to be trusted, they don't take people's lives into consideration they only think of themselves.

 Hello Nomsa,

Thank you for your review. We would like to address the concerns you’ve raised. Firstly, the claim that the vehicle's accident history was not disclosed is incorrect. You were accompanied by a third-party advisor—who identified himself as having over 35 years of experience in the automotive industry—during the inspection. He pointed out the prior accident in your presence, and despite this disclosure, you chose to proceed with the purchase.

Regarding the suspension, we were not aware of any modifications at the time of sale. All our vehicles undergo a basic inspection, and we rely on service records and information provided by previous owners when disclosing the condition of a vehicle. The Toyota Auris in question was sold based on its assessed condition at that time.

We understand that buying a vehicle is a significant decision, and we remain open to constructive engagement should you wish to discuss the matter further.

Kind regards,
 Management
