NOT so Hoppy Life @ Brewhaha Jbay

As a local, I do my best to support local businesses. But, what a disappointing display of customer service me and 8 of my friends experienced at Brewhaha on the 16/10/2019 Okay where to start : Firstly we arrived at Brewhaha just before 8 pm, as we arrived the first words out of the waiters mouth was “you need to order now if you want to eat , otherwise the kitchen is not going to make the food”. This is understandable due to the kitchen closing and the restaurant closing at 10pm. We ordered very quickly but were astound at the attitude of the waiter and the way she spoke and took our orders. Everyone on the table (all 9 of us) could feel the tension and if we didn’t order already we would have left, straight away. We felt that the staff from waiter to management did not want to serve us and they just wanted to go home. Then the drinks arrived, some order expensive craft beer in 1 liter form with glasses, only to receive a huge draft glass with a liter of beer. The almost impossible task of getting the beer in the smaller glasses let to (expensive) the beer being spilled rapidly. The food arrived … and as the food was placed in front of us the takeaway basket was throne next to my plate, again an indication of us to go! We settled the bill @ 9pm as the business was closing around us, and we could not shake the feeling of being rushed out. The food and drinks quality was great, but due to the service being so extremely poor, Me and 8 of my local friends will ever go back to Brewhaha nor recommend the restaurant to ANYONE! Seems you Brewhaha have way to much business to care about your service to your local customers! Shame on you.
