Be careful of being exploited by undisclosed costs with Brenlin Plumbers

We had a representative of Brenlin Plumbers come and assess some tap leaks. We made it VERY clear that we had a budget of R1000, and the agent discussed the various repairs, and said they would easily fall within our budget. They proceeded with the work, which was concluded in one hour. In the process, a valve was fitted to the geyser, which we discovered later, was billed at R1400! Therefore the invoice we received was for R2779.00! Just a warning to everyone out there to be very careful of being exploited by non-disclosure (also, no discussion, and therefore, no permission given by ourselves) Had the cost been disclosed, we would not have consented.
