The trash b8ns in our area are norma)y collected on a Tuesday. However, because of tge holidays and some apparently broken compactors the last few weeks the trash was picked up on different days. On Tuesday evening we were notified by local DA representative Esme vd Westhuizen that our area would be collected on Wednesday because of delays, so I brought my bin back into the yard. We have a long driveway so it's quite a trek to drag the bin up and down. On Wednesday morning I found out that the garbage truck actually did collect the garbage in our street hut because mine wasn't outside it was obviously not emptied. I notified Mrs vd Westhuizen that my bin was not emptied and I wax assured that the truck would be in our area and that the bin would be seen to. Yesterday the bin was still not collected, so I reported it again. I was then given a number to report it to a call center, which I did. I was sent a reference number which I provided to Mrs vd Westhuizen. Today is Friday. My bin is still outside, still full. This is not acceptable service. What good is a call center to report problems if nothing gets done about it anyway?
