Bad Turn Around Time and No Communication

I am actually appalled by the turn around time at Bredren Autobody. I was told to bring in my vehicle on 5 Jan'16 and that repairs will take 7 working days. I called on 14 Jan'16 and I was told my car is in assembly, it will go for cleaning then quality check. I was told my car should be ready buy the next Tuesday which was 19 January 2016. This was however not the case and I was given the exact same story on Tues 19th and that it will be ready on Friday 22 Jan'16. I phoned again on Friday 22 Jan'16 & I received the exact same story AGAIN!! When I complained about the REPETITIVE status update & that I can not be told the same thing 3 times, there was now a sudden delay in receiving parts which was not communicated prior. I was promised another collection date of 26 Jan'16 but this hasn't materialised. This time the story was that it failed quality check and the bumper got scratched and had to be repainted. My next collection date is now apparently 27 Jan'16.....Not at any point did I receive a status update without me calling them 1st. I have incurred exorbitant car hire and travel costs. Had they been upfront with me I would have made cost effective, long term arrangements.

Good Day Sir/Ma'am

It’s very disappointing to receive a comment like this. We work hard to offer good and friendly service with quality work, and I have investigated your concerns you have raised and I would like to comment on your points:

Note that due dates are dependent on the availability of the parts and the Bredren and the insurance companies have no control over the parts delivery or parts availability.

I have however raised the matter with our Suppliers and Partners and we are striving to eliminate all delays as far as possible.

In light of the parts delay, I hope you are happy with the workmanship and your vehicle is driving as expected after the repair.

If you’d like to contact me directly, please call and ask for Richard.
