Terrible Terrible Breakers Resort

We booked into the Breakers Resort last Saturday the 12th of October. We were not informed at the time of our booking that renovations would be taking place during the week of our stay. The purpose of a holiday is to get away and relax in relative peace and quiet. The continual construction noise happening throughout the day here is totally unaccepatble. The resort should be closed while these renovations take place. How can any sane person keep a holiday resort open and expect guests to be able to relax with this incessant noise. I get away about once every18 months and am now subjected to this. The resort is being plain greedy by keeping it open while this goes on. I am extremely disappointed and am considering legal action against the resort as this is really disgusting. Be warned - stay well away from The Breakers if you have even the slightest intention of trying to relax on holiday.
