Money down the drain

I had booked accommodation at Breakers Resort using Booking.com channel for weekend of 27-29 Oct 2023.

Unfortunately my son got injured while at school on the 27th Oct 2023 and got admitted at a hospital. I couldn't travel anymore. When I phoned the host on ***, he rudely told me to read my bookings conditions.

I wasn't even asking them to refund, I was asking them to move my dates, as I was just wanting to make my sons traveling dream true. He's still in hospital with a torn hip adductor muscle and Breakers Resort scored free money. I suppose everyone is hungry for free money even holiday places loot peoples money 😢.
