Unequal treatment of customers
My wife & I visited B&B Sandown Road , Sunningdale for breakfast on the 25th June 2021 and we’ve been visiting this place for years while it was still owned by previous owners. It was always welcoming and hospitable even under the new management until today. The service was so bad and we weren’t being attended to so I tried to raise my hand to no response so I walked up to the counter to inform the lady there to tell the kitchen to make my food a takeout. The lady owner scold me like she was talking to her 2 year old,”Go and sit down, someone will come to your table” eish I was hurt.. My wife also asked her to put a 3rd chair on our table for a friend who was on his way, she just shoved a chair with attitude.
Be consistent , you can’t treat us differently from other customers just because we look different from them. To be successful in any business you need to treat people with respect , dignity and equally, money has no color. And when we raise these inequalities we get labelled as playing the race card , so we must continue to suffer in silence. Honestly you undermined us and were unwelcoming & left a bitter taste , it’s your establishment; do what you want you but we can’t come to a place where we are not welcomed. I would think that with this COVID-19 pandemic you would be going an extra mile to please the customers that continue to support you in these difficult times. What you did is not OK.
