SELLING PASTRIES THAT ARE STALE

<p>Today we purchased 1 x custard slice and 1 x carrot cake from the Bread Ahead - BLUFF</p> <p>Bread Ahead products cost more than your average bakery, but they always produced the goods!</p> <p> </p> <p>Today I was horribly disappointed. My carrot cake was so old and dry! I was afraid to bite into it in case it broke a tooth. Surely the fact that it's so old, it could be a health hazard eating it, let alone the price you paid for it. </p> <p> </p> <p>It happened to us before at Pavilion, I'm a carrot cake freak and will always choose carrot cake above any other cake. I'm not shy to pay the going price either... you get what you pay for, they say...</p> <p> </p> <p>I see on the website, very few responses from Bread Ahead. I don't expect a response, I just want Bread Ahead to follow up on their franchises. It appears that they simply sell a franchise and you're on your own after that... no back-up policy. Perhaps the staff need training... are they not making ends meet, and selling 3 or 4 day old carrot cake that feels like a brick! Heaven help me if I tried to swallow it... may have choked or had a bowel obstruction :) Wait, let me stop here, I've been watching too much Chicago Med ..</p> <p> </p> <p>Seriously guys, pay regular visits and check your stock. Staff are selling the old stock and maybe you're unaware of it.. and wondering why sales are down and you're losing customers. This review isn't to name and shame... it's feedback for you to utilise in making the BREAD AHEAD name GREAT again!</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
