No Boxes, only packets for all purchases

Purchased today (3rd April 2016) 2 jam donuts at Bread Ahead Pine Crest Centre, Pinetown. Donuts were packed into a brown paper packet. When asked why not in a box as the jam would be lost from the top, was told they no longer carry boxes. How can you sell cream cakes etc and expect customers to have their purchase ruined by inadequate packing?
