I have a below poor experience with this company. It is a travel agency which I contacted for a package to Cape Town in celebration of my partners birthday. They put together a package that included accommodation and activities and quoted an amount for which I was told that amount would cater for both my partner and I as a couple. We decided to add friends as the quotation was reasonable and favorable for everyone. We were told the package would be R8000 with a deposit of R2000 and bookings would be made once deposit had been made. R2000 deposits were made only for them to tell us is R2000 per person there as we were 4, a R8000 deposit was needed. This is only a month after the original quotation was provided, so in that month non of this was communicated, only once we made payment then they tell us that time they saying deposit is non-refundable. Nonetheless we made the deposits and they made booking. Unfortunately at the last minute when final payment is due, the other couple decide to pull out and now 2 months later the travel agency is telling me that the package is actually R8000 per person and not per couple, they made a mistake by telling me it's per couple however there is nothing they can do about it. Even those it's their mistake I must ay an additional R10 000.00 of the R6000 payment I made in order for my partner and I to go on this trip or they'll only refund me R2000. Now I'm being told to consult a lawyer when I speak out against the deceit and my displea*****t.
