VERY UNHAPPY AND ANGRY

In October 2023 I purchased a very expensive mattress from Dial a Bed called a SEALY SKYLINE MEDIUM. After the first couple of months, I noticed the mattress was sinking where I slept. I duly phoned Dial a Bed and they organised for an inspector from the manufacturer to come and inspect the mattress. After all the "measurements, photographs etc" including telling me it was the base which is a brand new storage base, I was informed that there was nothing wrong with the mattress. Two months later I phoned in with the same complaint and an assessor was sent out. This time a different assessor said there was a problem and they replaced the mattress, which just tells me that there is no science behind this a all. It just depends on one person's point of view which is ridiculous. Anyway, the second mattress was no better after a couple of weeks. I waited until February 2024, by which time my back sides and hip were excruciatingly sore every morning. The mattress was turned regularly and I weigh 51 KG, so it is not my weight! I complained again and strangely enough the very first assessor came out again with all the usual tricks. You guessed right there was "nothing wrong with the mattress". I tried to speak to Christina the manager and left at lease 6 messages but she never returned my calls. I am at my wits end. I cannot possibly sleep on this mattress for the next 10++++++ years. I have a 4 level spinal fusion and a hip replacement and that is why I am so careful when I buy a bed. Well clearly not careful enough! The lady that phoned me to tell me the result of the assessment was like a robot and just kept saying "we will honour our warranty".. Meaning they won't change it. I am so upset and tired of waking up ( and sleeping ) in pain. I have NEVER had such a shocking mattress. It should be taken out of their stock list.

It is truly awful and the fact that this company is still selling this R14000 mattress is unbelievable. They clearly don't read their reviews (which I have), or they just don't care that they are foisting this ******* onto unsuspecting buyers. Read all the terrible reviews on these mattresses before you buy one. I wish I had.
