Unsatisfactory and unprofessional service

<p>Less than a year ago I purchased two hide-away beds + 4 matresses from Brands Bedroom Centre in East London; Eastern Cape. The value of this sale was close to R20K - cash.</p> <p>I recently experienced problems with the sale - The one bed broke into half and the other really shows signs of poor quality. Upon contacting the store as well as the store manager, I tried to resolve this. I was informed that they did not force me to make the purchase and that they are under no obligation to replace or refund me. Initially I was given an option of vouchers, and when I enquired what happens if I do not find anything to my liking, or I find something that is less in price than the initial sale. I was clearly informed in no uncertain terms by the manager that they will NOT refund me at all and that they need to discuss it, as the store is taking the knock for this. They did not force me to make the purchase.</p> <p>At this point, I am at wits end, and I will never purchase anything from that store as they have very poor customer service.</p> <p> </p> <p>i expected my purchase to be of reasonable quality and last for a reasonable time, expecially taking into consideration of the exorbitant price.</p> <p> </p>
