Bad telephone manners

I called Brand House office in Bloemfontein to make inquiries regarding the company employment process. My call was answered, but the moment I started talking the person on the other side of the line stopped me and demanded that I speak in Afrikaans. When I told him that I could not speak Afrikaans he then hung up. I called again hoping for a positive response but to my surprise, he just started swearing for reasons known to him. <br> I don't see why would one get angry at me for not being able to speak their language.
