Unsatisfactory customer service

I bought a top from brand Mania on the 23/12/2017 and went overseas on holiday that 25th of December 2017. I brought back the item on the 14/01/2018 as it was 2days after returning from my trip to return the item and they refused to give me a refund. The only policy is an exchange of the item within 10days and states nothing about a time frame for a REFUND. I wasted R150 worth of petrol to come in and return this to no avail.
