I am a Brainline learner that moved over at the start of lockdown. I am satisfied with the service I got with registration, and the way classes were conducted, but exams are another thing. Brainline Assessment team is horrible with their time planning. With the third term's rapport, it was extended by 9 days from the day we were supposed to receive it, and then when we did receive it, not all of our subjects' marks were on it, since some of the first papers that we wrote, wasn't finished marking after nearly a month. I also let an external teacher mark one of my physics papers, and they found a few places where I lost marks for things I shouldn't have, so I sent an email to my teacher, with no reply. A week later, I sent a follow up email, but still got no reply. It is now 17 days after my first email, and I am doubtful I would get a reply. If you are looking to make the switch to Brainline from a CAPS curriculum school, do not do it if your child is above grade 9. In general I would not recommend Brainline for most people, they might be the oldest home school company in SA, but they still have a lot of flaws in their system and the way they operate.
