FAILURE TO REFUND DEPOSIT AND POOR SERVICE

We booked Braeside weddings and Functions for our wedding on 28th March 2015. After paying per head for a three course meal, the venue only provided two small plates of starters which was extremely embarrassing and certainly not enough for 120 guests. The food was also terrible, we paid for lamb breyani and ended up getting rice with raisons and lamb curry that was force cooked. The tandori chicken also had raw masala and was very dry.The coordinator, Sue was extremely rude to our guests and completely unhelpful. Now after that horrible experience they have also breached the contract by failing to refund our deposit. Even though the venue is beautiful, do yourself a favour and dont ever hire this venue. Their prices are ridiculous and they will rip you off! After you make the final payment, they completely ignore your emails and telephone calls and if you do end up getting ahold of them, they tend to have a very bad attitude.
