Worse store to purchase

In December 2020 I purchased a Defy Fridge and lounge suite from Bradlows Phoenix Branch.

Cost of lounge suite R15 999.99 Cost of fridge R6500.00 Store requested for a deposit of 30% which was paid on the 27/11/2020

I received my goods on the very same day, only to realise a week later that the lounge suite started to sink inwards.

I called at the store and reported the incident, I made it clear to branch manager that I don’t want this to be repaired I would rather choose another lounge suite or they refund me my cash back.

He mentioned that that the lounge suite must go in for investigations and only if I have a problem with the lounge suite after 3 times then I can claim for a refund.

My lounge suite was picked up and taken for investigations; I was call last week to inform that the lounge set was repaired. I told the guy that called me that I made it clear at the store that I will not accept the lounge suite back. He said he will get back to me and never heard from him since.

Last week Monday the Fridge light stopped working, I assumed the fridge gave up. I called the store and they sent a Defy Technician to check the fridge out. He told me due to load shedding the bulk had burnt out.

I told him that impossible, my older fridge worked perfectly fine for 12 years despite the load shedding the bulk was not replaced not once.
