Unacceptable Settlement Amount

I bought "Knight 10 Piece dining table" which was R19,999.95 in December 2017 at Bradlows in East London. The delivery was R850.00 which was paid in cash, this is standard rate irrespective of the distance from warehouse to delivery point.

On the day of delivery I noticed a chip on the leg and the following day I complained, after numerous promises they changed the leg on the 11 of January 2018. First deduction went through, an amount of R1,630.83 was deducted on the 15th of January 2018.

Noticed how they do business and was not happy. I opted to settle the account. I called for settlement to my surprise the amount was R21,259.34. I requested clarity and was told of an insurance whilst I am intending to close the account, to be precisely it costs R23,740.17 with delivery to buy dining table from 11 January (day it was changed and was happy with the product) to 23 January 2018, which was advertised for R19,999.95.

Extremely unhappy.
