Terrible service

the worst company I have ever dealt with, I had an bradlows account that was settled in 2023/08/11 with evidence of paid up letter, today in 2024 I'm told that account has been sold to two collections company.of which is consumer friend and nimble group. I paid the account through consumer friend but now nimble is busy harassing me and saying that I owe the bradlows account Even my credit score has went down with 40 points.am busy accumulating bad credit history because of them I can't do anything for my self I have no financial freedom because them.
