Retrenchment cover

Good afternoon,<br> I have been paying my account for years, due to falling behind on my payments. I have already paid the amount owed on the kitchen unit I purchased but none the less am still needing to pay about R30 000 to close this account. I have been under debt review and they pay the account on my behalf. I am now being retrenched and have queried what sort of retrenchment cover I have with Bradlows. I am battling to get answers from anyone, when my debt review company called, they were told I don't have retrenchment cover. How is that even possible? I want to know why it was never offered to me. I also want to know what the settlement fee would be but again, my debt review company was told that Bradlows is refusing to offer a settlement amount. Is it your goal for accounts to never be paid up? I have also tried to contact DMC as Bradlows referred my account to them but they don't get back to me either.
